THE PRACTICE
One practice, three areas of work.
Gainza works where complexity concentrates — in a leader’s judgement, a founder’s venture, an organisation’s evolution. The work is confidential and personal, concerned with making difficult things clear so that the right course becomes visible, and lighter to carry out.
Executive Relational Mentoring
Helping leaders make better decisions by understanding the human systems in which they operate.
Venture Advisory
Helping founders transform promising ideas into ventures that people actually adopt.
Strategic Business Advisory
Helping established organizations evolve and grow, without losing the identity that makes them valuable.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Shaping outcomes — without unrealistic cost or time.
Organisations, founders and professionals share a common aim: to shape outcomes without committing unrealistic amounts of money or time to get there. That demands clarity and focus — which are rarely easy to hold. They slip away when the days are consumed by operational demands, when a capable team quietly resists change, or when the possibilities are many and you stand alone against them.
This is where Gainza can make a difference. Gainza works alongside you through a proven approach centred on the relational dynamics that connect your goals, your projects, your customers and your stakeholders. Together you examine how those relationships are likely to develop, clarify your role and your team’s within them, and concentrate on the few real levers — and the subtle shifts — that move outcomes most.
And you do so with a senior figure at your side: someone with genuine reach and an established network, carrying the judgement that comes from decades of real responsibility — the lessons of past mistakes and the assurance of successes repeated. Not advice handed in from outside, but experienced partnership from within.
Founder’s note
This practice grew out of a long combination of experiences — from early mentoring and volunteer work to almost three decades of leadership in international industrial and mobility environments, where decisions carried real and lasting consequences.
Across that time, one recognition kept returning: that identity and outcomes alike are shaped as much by the relational dynamics around a decision as by skill or strategy. Attending carefully to those dynamics is what makes a freer, steadier way of leading, building and deciding possible — one that others can trust.
This is the through-line of everything Gainza does, whether the work is with a leader, a founder, or an established organisation.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Gainza is a confidential mentoring and advisory practice for people who carry real responsibility. It works through three connected practices — Executive Relational Mentoring for senior leaders, Venture Advisory for founders, and Strategic Business Advisory for established organisations. Across all three, the method is the same: clarifying the relational dynamics that connect your goals, projects, customers and stakeholders, so that decisions become clearer and outcomes more dependable.
-
Gainza works with senior leaders, freshly appointed executives, young and not so young founders and established organisations navigating growth, transformation and complex decisions. It also works with individuals on their personal and professional development, where the same attention to relational dynamics supports clearer judgement and steadier leadership. Engagements may be initiated privately or through organisational sponsorship.
-
Consulting tends to deliver recommendations from the outside; coaching tends to focus on an individual’s skills and behaviours. Gainza works on the relational dynamics in which decisions actually unfold — how identity, interpretation and influence shape what becomes possible. Rather than prescribing actions, it develops the clarity that lets the right course become your own, and it does so as embedded partnership avoiding a fixed, costly structure.
-
There is no single programme. Some work turns on a single decision; some accompanies a venture or an organisation over many months. Cadence is flexible and shaped around real situations as they arise, which keeps the investment of time and cost proportionate — adding senior perspective without adding permanent structure. Engagements are sustained for as long as they remain relevant, and no longer.
-
Yes. The substance of the work is always held in strict confidence — it is what allows the honest, unguarded conversation in which clarity becomes possible — and it is conducted one-to-one or with a small responsible group.
Visibility, by contrast, follows the client's wishes. Some engagements are entirely private; others are made known by mutual agreement, or at the client's request — for instance when Gainza is brought in to help strengthen a client's positioning towards their own customers and stakeholders. Selected information is shared only when the client wants it; the content of the work remains confidential throughout.

A brief, confidential conversation is the simplest place to begin. It is an unhurried way to understand whether the work is relevant to your situation, with no expectation beyond that. You are welcome to write directly to arrange one.
